Künstlerisches Arbeiten über täglich neue Aufgaben

Am 02.04. schreibt jede*r aus dem Team eine Geschichte über einen Corona-Moment. Es ist die erste Aufgabe nach der Probenpause. Die Geschichten lesen wir uns am Tag darauf vor. Die nächste Aufgabe ist ein einminütiges Video über unseren Prozess in den zurückliegenden Probenwochen in Mannheim. Aus einem der dabei entstandenen Videos entnehmen wir das Bild der Zwiebel, das uns die folgenden Wochen begleiten und den Ausgangspunkt für die Architektur unseres ersten Entwurfs des „messy archive“ bilden wird. In den ersten beiden Probenwochen in Mannheim haben sich die Themen translation, corona, stereotypes, racism, history und pictures als Schwerpunkte herausgebildet. In Gruppen arbeiten wir nun daran weiter. Wir gestalten Mind-Maps, verfolgen neue Ideen und verwandeln sie in Videos. Dabei geht es uns vor allem darum Onlineformate und Techniken auszuprobieren. In der Diskussion über die Mind-Maps bemerken wir, dass wir das Thema Rassismus und Stereotype vertieft betrachten müssen, gerade in Anbetracht der aktuellen Situation und der Tatsache, dass wir online und nicht real körperlich einen Raum teilen. Wir nähern uns dem Thema in persönlicher Weise und gestalten Musik oder Videos.

Artistic Work about New Tasks Everyday

On April 2 nd everyone from the team writes down a personal Corona moment. It is the first task after the rehearsal break. We read our stories to each other the following day. The next task is to create a one-minute video about our process in the past weeks of rehearsals in Mannheim. From one of the videos we take the image of the onion, which will accompany us in the following weeks and form the starting point for the architecture of our first draft of the "messy archive". During the first two rehearsal weeks in Mannheim, we focused on the following topics: translation, Corona, stereotypes, racism, history and pictures. We continue to work on them in groups. We design mind maps, follow new ideas and transform them into videos. Our main aim is to try out online formats and techniques. In a discussion about mind-maps, we realize our need to take a closer look at the topics racism and stereotypes, because of the current situation and due to the fact that we cannot longer be in the same room and have to meet online.
